Southgate area overview

Southgate got incorporated into London when the Piccadilly line arrived in 1933. While it doesn't have the There is plenty of open space around Southgate including the lovely Grovelands Park, Oakwood Park and Minchenden Oak Gardens. This last park is so named because it hosts the largest oak tree in England which experts think could be over 800 years old.
