Rush Green in east London sits to the west of Romford which is the biggest urban hub in the area. It sits on the border of two local authorities, Havering and Barking & Dagenham and has a distinctly urban-Essex feel to it. It's one of the cheapest areas of London to rent in perhaps because the area seems to conspicuously avoid any train or tube stations. However residents do benefit from something really quite lovely. To the south of the area is Dagenham Chase Local Nature Reserve which is one of the best urban nature reserves in the south of England. Combined with the Eastbrookend Country Park it has a rich variety of habitats that attract an exciting range of wildlife.
