Living in Isleworth area information and guide

Isleworth area overview

Isleworth (pronounced Isel-worth) in west London is one of London's great counterintuitive place names along with Greenwich, Southwark, Marylebone and Plaistow. The northern part of the district is bounded by the M4 and the beautiful Osterly Park and the eastern boundary is marked by the River Crane flowing into the Thames. The area is well connected in terms of public transport with Isleworth overground station running into Waterloo in about 40 minutes and Osterly tube station on the Piccadilly line running into the west end in about 35 minutes.
