Harefield area overview

Harefield is a lightly populated district in the extreme north west of London near the boundary with Buckinghamshire. The areas biggest claim to fame is the pioneering work that took place at Harefield Hospital in the field of heart surgery. The area, which includes Denham is dominated by the River Colne, it's lakes and the open flood plain surrounding it. Harefield doesn't have a station of its own but the southern part of the district contains Denham and Denham Golf Club stations which take resident into Marylebone Station in 31 minutes.
