Greenford area overview

Greenford in west London is a pleasant residential suburb with a long history as a stand alone town, before it was absorbed into London. It developed as a manufacturing centre transporting goods to central Lodnon via the Grand Union Canal. Today there are some heavyweight employers there including IBM, Panavision and Royal Mail.

As well as the local workforce they are attracted by the areas excellent transport accessibility as Western Avenue runs straight through it (the main road which connects Oxford City to Oxford Street). Greenford is home to The London Motorcycle Museum, capital's only motorcycle museum with a display of around 200 exhibits on display including a wide range of bikes & memorabilia.
