Living in Feltham area information and guide

Feltham area overview

Feltham in west London is a residential district close to Heathrow Airport. The area has two lovely open spaces, Hanworth Park and Crane Park. Feltham has some fantastic former residents including Freddie Mercury and Brian May of Queen and Jimmy page of Led Zeppelin.

The main shopping hub called The Centre has a good range of standard high street shops but many people travel to the bigger centres of nearby Hounslow, Kingston or Staines to do serious shopping. Being so close to Heathrow many local businesses service the airport particularly on the logistics side of things. Feltham station runs into Waterloo in just half an hour and it's well connected by road which means its attracted big employers like DHL and Arqiva.
