East Bedfont area overview

East Bedfont is a suburban area of outer west London, right on the border of Greater London. It is sandwiched between Feltham and Heathrow Airport, which almost entirely drives the local economy in one way or another. Like much of outer London it is dominated by semi-detached family housing built n the inter war period. There are a few lovely landmarks in the area, for example the sculpted yew trees outside the local church. The area is a bit of a transport no mans land but Feltham rail station, Hatton Cross underground station are on the outskirts of the area.
