Acton in West London has a fairly bland reputation being neither very fancy or very run down. The main attractions are the relatively affordable rents and the excellent transport connectivity. The area will have a Crossrail station (Acton Main Line) which will connect it to the City in under 15 minutes from 2017. the result is that there is significant levels of development going on with new housing popping up all the time. We expect Acton's reputation will improve dramatically over the next few years as young people priced out of central London flock there.
